Understanding how to generate your own fresh MLM leads is the difference between making zero money in this industry and actually owning your life one day. Understand this; buying leads only makes the person selling them money. I have not yet met anyone who has successfully built any business buying leads. It may be possible but does not duplicate.
Do your own research on MLM leads. Study the most successful people in this industry and see what they do. I can tell you that all of them are still generating their own MLM leads; they just are not using free methods. All of the industry leaders will tell you to learn PPC once you begin to make some money. This is only one method of traffic and lead generation. Learn to target your audience. I do not care what company you have bought leads from in the past and it does not matter what type of leads you purchased. There will never be a better lead then the ones you generate yourself. Let me give you an example. If you’re surfing the internet looking for a specific business opportunity I can promise you have targeted your search by typing in a specific keyword.
Once you find something that interests you the next step is to give that person your name and email address. Now you’re expecting something in return for your exchange. You are a targeted lead and if you’re interested enough you may even appreciate a phone call follow up for the company or the person that gave you the information.
There are plenty of free ways to generate fresh MLM leads. Thousands of people, new people, are looking for business opportunities every day online. You just have to position yourself in front of them. Stop making excuses and find someone that is willing to teach you how to generate your own targeted leads.
Imagine calling someone that opted into your opportunity. I can promise you calling or emailing that person is a lot more pleasant then call some opportunity seeker lead that you paid good money for. People are tired of getting call after call about crap that they did not even ask for information about. One of the biggest misunderstood topics within the home based business industry is MLM network marketing lead generation. I want to set your mind at ease and just state right up front that if you follow my techniques, you will be generating your own targeted leads very soon.
First let’s talk about buying leads. Stop that, is all that needs to be said about that topic. Really, I want you to understand buying leads will never grow your business and here is why. It’s not duplicable, meaning that most people do not have the budget to spend on buying leads. We all know that anybody you sponsor is going to look to you for advice about building their business. You want to position yourself as a leader who teaches the skills needed to generate targeted leads, without making money off the back of your distributor. I do not want to hear the crap about those that will not join your business and you want to make money from them. If this is what you believe then you may need to find another company to promote, because your pay plan is crap.
I want to tell you that all of my skills training is free. I do not charge anything and if you take the time (invest in yourself) I promise I will teach you everything you need to know about MLM network marketing lead generation.
There are many different ways to generate MLM leads; the quest is to find those that are targeted. You see, there are many ways to drive traffic to a website but if you do not target that traffic then you will not have any conversions. What I mean by this is nobody will be interested in what you have to offer. Plus, you want traffic that is hungry for what you have to offer. List building sites are a great example of traffic you do not need. Sure, you can pay two hundred bucks a year to blast an email offer to three thousand tire kickers every three days. The internet was created with content and as it has evolved so has the search engine. Relevant content is what the top three search engines want. The trick here is to follow their rules and give them what they want.
So, what is the best content today? Well I can tell you that articles are number one and videos are number two. Sometimes videos will out-rank articles. Everything we do will focus on keywords and competition. Keywords, are what people are searching for and how many times do they search for the term. Competition means how many websites have the relevant information on them that people are searching.
It’s just that simple.
